This April marks the beginning of something special for cricket in the Rijnmond region.
For the first time, the strongest cricket clubs in the region come together for an exciting new tournament format. The Cricket Rijnmond Cup 2026 brings Excelsior’20, Hermes DVS, Rotterdam Cricket Club (RCC), Sparta, VOC and Concordia into a T20 format that promises intensity, local rivalry, and high-quality cricket.
Taking place across April 4th, 11th, and 12th 2026, the tournament is structured to build towards an exciting final where the first-ever winner of the Cricket Rijnmond Cup will be crowned.
At Rotterdam Cricket Club, we are proud to play a central role in hosting this event for two of the three days. The matches on April 11th and 12th will take place at our home ground, the Zomercomplex, where recent development, including a newly upgraded field and match lighting, allow us to create a unique matchday experience. With the possibility of extended play into the evening, the finals day in particular is set to deliver a special atmosphere under the lights.
The competition begins with a group stage, followed by a finals day featuring semi-finals and the grand final.
